| All Rod Factory '33 - '34 Ford chassis' start with a precision jigged, heli arc and mig welded frame engineered for maximum strength, ease of assembly and quality in appearance. Frames are boxed full length and the center cross member allows adequate transmission clearance. Our HI-TECH IFS suspension or dropped axle front end is available on all frames. The front crossmember for dropped axles has a 6 degree pitch to help insure correct alignment. Body mounting holes have welded 3/8" threaded inserts and fender mounting has 5/16" inserts. Frames are also available with our Continuous Flow "C"d rear rails to provide added rear axle clearance, a smoother appearance of frame rail sides and a lower stance. We suggest the optional Aldan rear coil over shocks to get the best ride and lowest stance. Frames may also be ordered for Corvette or Jag rear installations and in a Pro-street version. Other combinations are also available for additional charges. We can tailor a package to fit your budget whether you're buying a chassis assembly or frame and components separately. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| C' Notched Rear Frame Rails | ||||||||
![]() |

| Rear frame rails are 'C' notched to provide additional clearance between the bottom of the frame and the top of the rear axle tubes. This is necessary to prevent bottoming out when the car is lowered to get the rear tire diameter to more closely fit the radius of the fender or fender well. Unlike all the other companies that do this after the frame is built, the Rod Factory laser cuts the 'C' notch into the rails before they are welded together. The lower flange of the rail is cut longer to accommodate the additional needed material for the 'C' notch. This allows the rail to be built in one continuous piece instead of a rail that has been cut out and then patched together. | ||||||||
