'28 - '31 Ford Chassis'
All Rod Factory Model 'A' chassis' start with a Rod Factory, precision jigged, heli arc and mig welded frame engineered for maximum strength, ease of assembly and quality in appearance. They are built to the original dimension and tapers of the '28-'31 Ford frame. Body mounting holes have 3/8" threaded inserts welded in and all necessary bracket holes are center punched for ease of locating. All frames are available with our HI-TECH IFS front suspension or dropped axle front end. Dropped axle front crossmember mounts a stock type radiator and is installed at the proper angle to help insure correct front end alignment. Frames are available with a 2" raised and narrowed (R and N) rear crossmember for a lower rear stance or with a stock rear frame dimension. We suggest optional Aldan rear shocks for the lowest stance and better ride. Other rear crossmember options include a Pick-up version, Pro-street or set up for Corvette and Jag installations. Whether you are buying a chassis in one of the stages offered or a frame and components separately, we can tailor a package to suit your needs and budget.
